The Bunk House
For bigger groups or those who like to spread out, add our Bunk House to your reservation. We are in the process of building out a separate structure from the main house that offers more sleeping and living space, all with a great view of the lake. Available May 1st, 2025!

The Main House is the heart of FoxTail Retreat, featuring open living, dining, and kitchen spaces that flow to covered and open decks. With a primary suite, trundle bedroom, game room, and thoughtful layout, it’s designed for relaxed, effortless group stays.

The King Bedroom
Bright, stylish, and serene—this beautifully designed bedroom features a king-size bed, playful modern décor and a large window that frames a peaceful view of the lake and surrounding trees. Whether you’re waking up with the sun or winding down after a day on the water, this room offers a perfect blend of comfort and charm.
The Primary Bedroom / Lakeview Suite
Step into comfort and calm in the beautifully designed primary suite. Featuring a plush king bed, wide lake views and a spacious walk-in closet, this room is both cozy and luxurious. The en suite bathroom offers a spa-like experience with double shower heads, sleek finishes and plenty of space to unwind.
With 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 6 total beds in the Main House and an additional 4 Queen beds in the Bunk House, FoxTail Retreat offers peaceful sleep for up to 18 guests. Each room is designed with comfort in mind — from plush mattresses and soft linens to nature sound maker and other, nature-inspired touches. Whether you’re unwinding after a day on the lake or settling in for a cozy night with loved ones, you’ll find every space crafted for deep rest and relaxation.
The Trundle Bedroom
Perfect for kids or extra guests, this charming room features a twin bed with a pull-out trundle, comfortably sleeping up to two. Nautical-inspired decor, soft linens, and a large window with peaceful yard views make it a cozy and inviting space to rest and recharge.

Cozy bedroom with a Twin-over-Queen bunk bed, plush bedding and a reading nook all with gorgeous views of the lake. A great place for kids, teens or friends to feel at home and enjoy their time on Lake Norman.
The Great Room in the Bunk House features two luxurious queen-over-queen bunk beds with built-in stairs for easy access. Each sleeping space is outfitted with room-darkening curtains, creating a cozy, private retreat for restful nights. (Note: Picture is a rendering, final decor may differ, construction underway, available May 1st).

FoxTail Retreat is packed with amenities to relax, reconnect and have fun. Soak in the private hot tub, unwind in the outdoor barrel sauna or launch into adventure with our kayaks and paddle boards. Indoors, the game room brings out everyone’s competitive side with air hockey, ping pong, arcade classics and video games. End the day around the fire pit or with a round of corn hole under the stars. A variety of activities that will keep everyone entertained and bring friends & families together.
